APPLY FOR ASSISTANCE

The Let’s Stay Home Fund is dedicated to assisting senior pets at-risk of surrender to the shelter. Completion of this application does not guarantee assistance. Your application will be reviewed as soon as possible. If you are eligible to receive assistance from the Let's Stay Home fund, a representative of City of Elderly Love will contact you.

Program Qualifications

• Must be a resident of Philadelphia, Bucks, Montgomery, or Chester (Pennsylvania) counties.

• Must be able to show identification such as driver's license or other photo ID upon request.

• Must show proof of fixed income/receipt of governmental assistance (Medicaid, unemployment, food stamps, SSI) or be able to show proof of recent financial instability.

• Must be willing to allow City of Elderly Love to request your pet be caught up on any necessary vaccinations, be microchipped and/or spayed/neutered during time of medical treatment if cleared by veterinarian, as well as receive any other medical treatments required to improve your pet's quality of life if recommended by veterinarian (i.e. receive a dental cleaning and extractions).

• Must be willing to provide ongoing care to your pet as directed by veterinarian (i.e. provide your pet any necessary ongoing medications, attend follow up vet visits, etc.).
